Thank you for visiting The Well Turned Pen website.  I have been a woodworker for over forty-five years.  As I was nearing the end of my teaching career I started thinking more and more about what I was going to do with my time when I retired.  One of my fellow teachers crafted pens, and after a couple of years of admiring his work I decided to give it a try.  My first attempts were horrible, however, I was hooked.  I have been turning pens now since 2010.   Since then I have been fortunate enough to sell over 2500 hand crafted pens to satisfied customers.  While I do craft the majority of my pens from wood, I do make about 10 percent of them from man-made materials.  I take great pride in my work and it is a thrill to when I see return customers drop by to just say hello or perhaps purchase another pen or two.  All my pens come with an unconditional lifetime warranty on my craftsmanship.  I also craft ladies bangle bracelets and men and women’s rings.

I am a frequent vendor at both the Chattanooga and Knoxville farmers markets.   Thanks again for stopping by.
